Newcastle's next year of fine young students have kicked off the new school year in style. Those who did get tix partied hard in the company of The Herd, Cog, Lefta and others...

Sorry to those who missed out on the awesome festivities of the famous O'ball on the 24th Feb. It was a top way to kick off the "school" year and acts like The Herd, Cog, Ash Grunwald, Josh Pyke and of course Lefta let it all hang out.

It was sold out before the doors opened so a lot of people missed out and sorry to those who were planning to rock up later or who came from out of town, it is a valuable lesson to get in early with the tix.

The good news is that this coming Fri 10th March the second installment of Richapalooza Festival is on, showcasing 12 bands. Doors open at 7:30pm and tix are only $12pre-sale, $10student or $15door.
